Amiga Pd CharitywareAmiga PD is a charityware site - if you download any disk images you are encouraged to donate to our chosen charity - Mencap -at our justgiving page.
Suggested donations are £1 per disk image download as this was the cost of obtaining a disk back in the 1990s. Thank you. |

AMIGA 1200 CF DISK IMAGE - WORK IN PROGRESS
One of the frustrations of the CD32 Compilation disk is that the load times are extremly long. This became even more apparent when I added the Renegade game to the disk. To improve load times I have started work on a hard disk version using the Lenon Lives Hard Drive Compilation Toolkit.
AMIGA 1200 CF DISK IMAGE AND CHARITYWARE
The downloads on this site are free. However if you enjoy playing the games, reading the reviews contained on this website you are encouraged to make a donation to my current charity of chocie Mencap. You can do this by visiting Amigapds just giving page.
Recommendations donations would be £1 per disk image and £10 per CD image. These are compariable to the amounts you would have paid for disks from public domain libaries during the 1990's.

PROGRESS AND KNOWN ERRORS
I have copied over all the games from the CD32 compilation disk. The majority work fine. The errors I am aware of are:
1. Electrek - the game runs too fast - may be my blizzard
2. Croak and Croak 2 - the game runs too fast - may be my blizzard
3. Megaball and Megaball 2 - no longer loads - Update this seems to be an assign issue - you need to assign the libs folder in the start script - this will get the games to load but unfortunately the ball is not shown on the screen - Argh!!!!
4. The point and click adventures (Lord of Alcandria 2 and Lord of Alcandria 3 plus a couple of others, didn't work with the menu music - I have solved this by moving the Nopaz and HIP files from the C folder to a redundant A folder - if you want to reinstate the menu music just move them back. Update - Boo Boo from the EAB forum is currently helping with this so fingers cross the next version may include menu music without impacting on game compatibility.
5. The games with ZZ prefix may not load - Update have got Fayoh and Hoi to work and these will be changed from ZZ prefix games in the next update.

THE DOWNLOAD
Below is the work in progress download file. Whilst all care is taken to ensure the files are safe, Amigapd will not be held responsible for any damage to your hardware or software as a result of using the download.
Amigapd recommend the files are copied to a CF disk and loaded via the PCMCIA slot rather than copied directly to your hard drive. Only copy to your hard drive if you are confident in transfering files.
To see the files you may need to select "show all files" from the drop down menu on your Amiga workbench screen.
