Introducing a new category for our this blog which is recommended games. First up is Metagalatic Llamas by arcade game legend Jeff Minter. It is a game which I seem to have missed, I remember playing Llamatron and Revenge of the Mutant Camels but never got round to playing this. The game is a fun, llama themed shooter with the usual Jeff Minter twist - in this case a ceiling which you can move up and down to bounce your shots off. As usual, a very fast paced, manic shooter.
#Amiga - New interview with Gary Dunne - creator of such great puzzle games Infection and Toobz. Click here to read the full interview.
Read our latest interview with Mark Gallagher creator of the fantastic Smash TV the Rip off. He also worked on an unreleased game called Crime Inc, a playable demo is available for download from his website.
Attached with Ola's email containing the 2 disk version of Outpost - The Final Battle was also another game called Adam. This game is a fun game which will amuse for a few moments - the idea is to clear the screen by moving your Green dot to create blocks like Yelp. You have to be careful of the bouncing Yellow ball and the two red balls as well. To return to the start screen after being caught you need to press the right mouse button.
After many years of wondering and hoping on various Amiga Forums - Ola Zandelin has confirmed that he still has the original Outpost - Final Battle disks and that he is happy to make them available as Public Domain - enjoy.
Interview with Ola Zandelin the creator behind Outpost and Marbles. He also mentions some of his unreleased amiga games including Clay Pigeon shoot which is based on a mini game from Hyper Sports. I manged to play this game through AMOS and it is fun.
Apologies for the lack of posts recently - have been busy working on an ebook about Amiga PD / Shareware games. The project is going well, still lots to do. The aim is to have a book made up of reviews of the best Amiga PD and Shareware games.
This week I have mainly been sorting out the format for kindle - have now got this sorted. Graham Humphrey, Robert Hazelby and Lifeschool have helped out with reviews so far and Cody Jarrett has also agreed to help. Will update you more as the project progresses - earliest release would be Mid of next year 2014. #New #Amiga #Game
Hi apologies for the lack of posts recently - I am currently working on a large Amiga PD project which I hope to share with you in 3 months time. In the meantime it is good to see that new Amiga games continue to appear. The latest one is Asgard Met Vikings - It is a simple mini game similar in style to the old Nintendo Game and watch series. You can download the disk image at the creators website. #Amiga - Just a quick update on the things still to complete for the Danger Mouse game.
