Top Tens
The aim over the next few months is to collect data on different top ten genres of Amiga public domain games starting with platform games. Shoot Em Ups is the fourth genre to be added. There will be 10 to produce a top 100 list of Amiga Public Domain games.
If the quality of games exist the list may then grow to contain a top 200 !!!

Asteroids Arcade perfect port of this great game.
Super Obliteration Professional Space version of Pang. Very addictive.
Santa and Rudolph do Xmas Christmas themed Jet Pac game - don't wait to Xmas to play this.
Motorola Invaders 2 This game really attacks the senses - great in game music, sound effects and bright colourful graphics.
Hellzone & Hellzone 2 Good R-Type clone with Bitmap brother type of metalic graphics.
Zombie Apocalypse 2 House of the Dead meets Operation Wolf.
Zaxon Another Arcade perfect port of a classic arcade shooter.
Gorf The classic game which created a whole new genre of computer games. Read more about this game and its author in our interview with Kevin Galagher.
Honourable MentionsIt was extremely difficult to chose just 10 games for this catergory - Defender, Cybernetix, Amiga LaserZone and Moon Patrol are all great shooters and would easily grace any top ten shooter list.
