Choosing a Game

Back in the early 1990s when I was a teenager I did submit four SEUCK games to pd libraries and some were included on the Assassins game disks.

The games I made were Luftwaffe (fast paced WW2 game), Blob (bounce a ball along a tiled courseway), Warrior (limited Guantlet clone) and Billy the Dragon (awful game - only released to receive disks in exchange).

The game I have decided to make - is an update of Luftwaffe - this game unfortunately seems to be missing - I seem to recall stealing graphics from other existing SEUCK games (I was only a teenager and didn't know better) The game did however move at pace compared to the other SEUCK games such as Air Ace 2 and Raid which were set on the lower scroll speeds.

To make the game an update rather than an attempted remaking - I will switch it around with the player controlling a British spitefire and set it over England during the Battle of Britain. Perhaps that will be the title - or working title - "Battle of Britain"
